I think the rules are perfect, unless the player base expands.

EDIT: OK sure.. it's not just about that, it's also because some people keep calm when getting punnished, others are OK and still a bit angry, however you are over both of those.

Your text-y thingy sounds ragey too. Also quit raging and wait your ban out like a normal player would, and stop making such a fuss about it. You should've read the rules before posting porn sites, which are highly inappropriate for the younger players, don't just think about yourself, think about other players and go to their perspectives instead of: getting muted; having enough and then posting a thread which is trying to shorten your ban. Also I highly recommend you learn the rules and understand them a bit more, and next time you won't get muted. If you follow my tips above - staff will take consideration in your post.

EDIT #2: Though going in an argument won't help either. Just state why you dislike blah blah blah. Why you like blah blah blah, no need to go to the deep side here.

Clearly it seems our system right now is currently more lax than the system you are trying to put into place, is it not? You want the third punishment to be a perm mute OR a temp ban yet the current system actually gives you more chances than that.

If you dont believe me here is a screenshot from my training document given to all new helpers; http://prntscr.com/ai20qi ... as you can see nowhere does it say that they're to give out perm mutes.

-- On another note, what good would clearing chat do exactly? Sure it'd get rid of the message that a player sent but are you saying you want to use this in lieu of punishment? That would be pure chaos if so. The chat would be cleared so many times by each staff that is on the server that it would just fuck up the whole social aspect of the server. People break chat rules constantly and thus the chat would be getting cleared constantly.

Now can I go back to where you stated in your reply to me that "this is an argument, sometimes you have to change your arguments due to some of the things others state." - Actually, you state in your very first post that "I feel as if saying something in chat shouldn't get you banned, I mean for a first time offender at least. I think chat related incidents should only get you muted." and then in the exact same post before anyone had replied you also write "The punishment should be ... 3rd time perm mute or temp ban".

Is it just me or does it seem that your argument is already all over the place before you even started? So clearly it isnt because you're trying to change your point of view due to someone elses posts.



Now, if you want to continue this I'd be more than happy to. I love a good argument in the morning and I can entertain you all day, just let me know.

Like I mentioned in my first response. There are only two chat offenses that dont get a warning and these are 1) Links to shock or porn websites and 2) Hate speech.. not sure if you read that or not when I originally posted which is why I didnt feel the need to reiterate. Lol you'd be failed out of my university if you wrote like that in any assignment. Maybe you should look at improving your "writing style" to something that would be accepted when you leave education and go into the work place? - a legitimate suggestion.

But nonetheless, the infraction system is fine the way it is and it will not be changed.
