Hello! Depending on the gamemode, there are other ways to get cubits.
On Skyblock, Islands, Survival and Earth if you are VIP or above you can complete /prestige quests and get at least 5 cubits for getting 10 prestige challenges completed. Realms like Olympus also have /tasks which you can complete, each task gives you 10 task points which can be spent in the task shop, and for 150 task points you can get 0.10 cubits!
Additionally, you can complete the Forums Rewards and get cubits daily as well on top of claiming 0.05 cubits every day!
