Well, why can I not use colors in my nickname?

Could you provide more information such as screenshots, details, etc? I've had this problem before, and realized that I was actually putting in the colors wrong after.

To color code with nicknames it's "&" right? Well I know all the color codes so I did it correctly and it says they must be alphanumerical.

The bracket "(Can also use colors in names)" needs to be removed. This got changed a while ago and you need VIP+ for colorful names

Ya I know what you are talking about. It does the same to me, whereas I can use color codes in my nick on survival but not on Creative and I guess, Islands.
